Veragold brings together mining engineers and geoscientists from the United States and Canada, operators with deep knowledge of Panama’s regulatory and community environment, and European capital markets specialists — a combination of disciplines built specifically for a project of this scale and jurisdiction.
Donald G. Foot
Chief Executive Officer
Leads the strategic direction and overall management of Veragold Mining Company. Brings extensive experience in resource project development, corporate governance, and stakeholder relations across international mining jurisdictions.
Antonio Bonilla
Managing Director
Oversees corporate governance, legal affairs, and strategic partnerships for Veragold’s Panamanian operations. Brings extensive knowledge of Panama’s regulatory and business environment, supporting the company’s relationships with government agencies and institutional stakeholders.
Rafael Eysseric Alzamora
Gerente General
Responsible for day-to-day operations at Mina Santa Rosa, overseeing site management, local regulatory compliance, and community relations. Brings in-depth knowledge of Panamanian mining operations and longstanding ties to the Cañazas district.
Tania Ilieva Ph.D., P.Geo.
Head of Geology
Responsible for all geological programmes at Mina Santa Rosa, including resource estimation, drilling management, and exploration target generation across the Contrato Ley area. A Professional Geoscientist with doctoral-level expertise in ore deposit characterisation.
Dayan J. Anderson MS, MMSA (QP)
Mine Engineer & Sustainability
Oversees mine engineering, process design, and the company’s sustainability programme. A Qualified Person under MMSA standards, responsible for the zero-cyanide flotation process, dry-stack tailings system, and environmental compliance across all four approved EIAs.
Stefan Kreis CFP
EVP Corporate Finance
Leads investor relations, capital markets strategy, and corporate finance for Veragold Mining Company GmbH. Responsible for structuring the investment opportunity and managing relationships with institutional and private investors in European markets.
The Veragold team spans three jurisdictions — Panama, the United States, Canada, and Germany — with operational leadership embedded in Cañazas since 2008. The executive and technical team presented here leads a total workforce of up to 400 employees at full production. Additional appointments will be announced as the project advances.
