Concessions and Permits
Gravity
- Produces the highest grade concentrates
- Economical technology but recoveries are lower
Leaching
- Better recoveries than gravity, but still marginal
- Uses cyanide
Flotation
- Best overall recoveries on all ore types
- Good upside potential
The Best Technology
- Flotation provides the overall best results
- Applicable to both the heap leach residue and the insitu core from each deposit
- Although implementation of the technology is more costly, the metallurgical performance overrides the increased cost
- Environmentally falls between gravity and leaching, but still environmentally safe and does not use cyanide
State-of-the-Art Technology
Paste Thickening
- Eliminates Waste Pond
- High Water Recovery
- Reduces Waste Volume
- Remaining Water Evaporates Quickly
- Ability to Dry Stack Tailings
- Eliminates Possibility of Dam Failure
Additional Drilling
- In Progress
- Evaluating additional resource close to existing operation
